Soundarapandian Bone Bank
Giving Life Back to Bones. Giving Hope Back to Lives.
Why a Bone Bank?
As a centre that sees a high volume of trauma and revision cases, we often encounter patients whose lives depend on timely access to high-quality bone grafts. Our Bone Bank aims to fill this critical gap by making safe, screened, and sterilised bone allografts available to those in need— regardless of financial status.
How We Operate
The Soundarapandian Bone Bank is strictly regulated and operated in accordance with national
and international standards. Oversight is maintained by:
- An Independent Advisory Board
- A Technical In-Charge
- A Bone Bank Officer
- An Operations Manager
- A dedicated Hospital Infection Control (HIC) Nurse
We have invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure, with clearly demarcated wet and dry
processing areas, equipped for both unprocessed frozen and processed frozen graft preparation.
