My mother recently underwent knee replacement surgery@ Soundara pandia bone annd joint hospital Annanagar , and I am extremely happy with the care, professionalism, and support my mother received throughout the entire process. The medical team was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure my mother was comfortable at every stage—from pre-surgery preparation to post-surgery recovery.
The surgeon explained the procedure clearly and gave us full confidence. The nursing staff was patient, caring, and always available whenever we needed help. The physiotherapy team scheduled the home visits and the sessions are happening on time .
Thanks to the combined efforts of surgeon Ram Kumar sir, our POC Anushiya and the entire nursing and physiotherapy
My dad had issues with his knee. Hesitant for surgery we had tried multiple other options but to no progress. So, decided to go ahead with surgery, reached out to multiple hospitals.
SBJH was also one of them as my relative had got treated for his medical condition. Booking appointment was easy via phone call and got an appointment with Dr.Ramkumar sir. Surgery was suggested with explanation of what will be done. Anu mam explained the procedure on what all will be taking place pre, post and during surgery. All questions were answered promptly by entire team.
Pre operative tests were conducted smoothly with guidance provided by Nursing staffs. Surgery was successful and they ensured dad was able to walk with support the very next day. Physio’s gave inputs around the rehab exercises that must be followed. Steps on Staircase climbing was explained.
Overall was a good experience. Insurance support, room facilities are good. Scope of Improvement wise I felt patient food might need some small improvement.
I would strongly suggest SBJH for this kind of surgery
I had a great experience with the physiotherapy team at Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital. The entire physio unit is very supportive and professional, and they made my recovery much smoother.

My mother in-law recently underwent knee replacement surgery at Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital. Both doctor’s Dr. Ravisubramaniam & Dr. Sivamurgan were very supportive, transparent & kept us well-informed in this process, answering all our questions and giving us detailed explanation. We are extremely satisfied with the treatment provided by SBJH. The doctors are very professional and they handle every patient uniquely.
Our special thanks to Mrs. Anu who was outstanding in handling us post diagnosis until post-surgery. She was very supportive and answers every call and provides great care and support. We would also like to thank staff nurses, housekeeping, other workers & even the day shift security who were all supportive & made us feel comfortable in this journey.
My mother in-law is now recovering well. I personally recommend Soundarapandian Bone and Join Hospital not just for Knee replacement surgery but even for any other bone related treatments, as they are one of the best hospitals who handles it.
My father met with an accident in January and had to undergo major surgery on his right hand and left leg. The hospital responded promptly, conducted all the necessary pre-checks, and ensured the surgery was performed on the same day. The doctors were extremely attentive and caring, although the nursing staff could have been a bit quicker in their response. Dr. Ramaswamy was very polite and took the time to clearly explain the post-operative care during each follow-up visit. My father completed his six-month follow-up this month, and we are grateful for the treatment he received.
I recently got my left knee operated at soundarapandian bone and joint hospital. All their staffs were amazing and the surgery and treatment went smoothly. The insurance process was extraordinary and went unexpectedly smooth and fast. Our PRM, Ms.Vedha, was really helpful and efficient in communicating all the information. Our doubts were cleared by her from time to time without any frustration. Overall, we had a good experience.
My mom recently had a knee replacement, and we’re very pleased with how smoothly everything went. The doctors and staff were caring and professional, and her recovery is progressing well. Even my stay as an attender was comfortable and well taken care of.
The good part is that, to prepare for the surgery, all the required tests—blood work, CT scan, ECG, cardiology check, and physiotherapy—were done on premise in a single day without any hassle. I was also impressed by the advanced technology used, like creating a 3D model and printing custom surgical guides to ensure accurate placement of the prosthetic.
We’re hopeful and excited to see her mobility improve even more in the weeks ahead.
My mom recently underwent total knee replacement surgery at Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital, and we are extremely happy with the entire experience. The hospitality, treatment, and care provided were excellent. From the management team to the doctors and housekeeping staff, everyone was outstanding and very supportive throughout the journey.
The surgery was handled with great expertise, and my mom is now recovering well. A special mention to Ms. Anu, who patiently attended to all our queries and explained everything clearly, which gave us a lot of confidence.
