Hospitalisation and Surgery

On arrival at the reception in A block, the front office executive will register and allocate a room for you according to your preference (AC/NON AC/Deluxe/Suite). You will be asked to pay an advance amount and a receipt will be issued confirming your payment. This amount will be adjusted along with the final bill during discharge

The patient will be requested to be in NIL PER ORAL (NPO) for several hours before your surgery. Please do as instructed. The nurses and ward attenders will prepare the patient for surgery and shift at the fixed surgery time. On completion of surgery, the patient will be in the ICU for several hours for observation after which they will be shifted back to the room.

Timely food service will be provided to the patient according to their nutritional needs. Our dietician will guide the patient with his/her nutritional needs during your stay. The timings will be as follows:

• Breakfast: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
• Soup: 10:00 am - 10:30 am
• Lunch: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
• Tea: 3:00pm - 3:30 pm
• Dinner: 7:00pm - 7:30pm

An ID band will be issued to the patient and tied around the wrist for identification purposes. Do not remove the ID band during your stay with us. The nurse will remove your ID band during discharge

Please bring all the patients current medication and MRI, CT, Xray reports to the hospital on admission.

The rooms and bathrooms are maintained with the utmost cleanliness here at Soundarapandian. Cleaning in the wards will take place both in the morning and in the evening. The sheets will be changed once a day during your stay

Once the patient has been cleared for discharge, billing can be completed in the cash counter.
