Personalised Arthroplasty – Decoding The Grand Mess
Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital, in association with leading orthopaedic societies, successfully hosted a two-day clinical summit on Personalised Arthroplasty held on May 30–31, 2025, at GRT Grand, Chennai.
Themed “Decoding the Grand Mess”, the event brought together eminent national and international experts to explore the evolving landscape of knee and hip replacements.
With Dr. Pascal-André Vendittoli as the international faculty lead, and a robust panel of Indian surgeons, the sessions delved into advanced alignment philosophies, robotic techniques, 3D imaging, patient-specific implants, and the growing importance of personalisation in joint replacement surgeries.
The interactive lectures, debates, and live case discussions with organising chairman Dr. Sivamurugan and Dr. Ravi Subramaniam provided attending surgeons with deeper insights into classification systems like CPAK/FKP, planning for complex anatomies, and achieving optimal surgical outcomes using modern technology.
This milestone event reinforced SBJH’s commitment to surgical innovation and education in orthopaedics.
